Trenk ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered job-finding platform available at trenk.online. We help job seekers discover roles that match their skills and goals. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our service.

We collect the minimum information needed to provide you with a great experience:

• personAccount information — your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up.
• workJob preferences — roles, industries, locations, and salary expectations you tell us about.
• descriptionResume data — information you add to our resume builder, stored securely and only visible to you.
• devicesUsage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser info to improve our product.
• loginAuthentication data — session tokens and login method (email OTP or Google OAuth), managed by Supabase.

Your information is used exclusively to operate and improve Trenk:

• auto_awesomeGenerate AI-powered job matches tailored to your profile
• mailSend you job alerts and important account notifications
• buildImprove our matching algorithms and product features
• securityDetect and prevent fraud or abuse on our platform
• support_agentRespond to your support requests and feedback

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate Trenk. Each processes only the data necessary for their function:

• storageSupabase — authentication and database (servers in your selected region)
• imageimgbb — profile photo hosting (images are publicly accessible by URL)
• cloudNetlify — website hosting and serverless functions
• account_circleGoogle OAuth — optional sign-in via your Google account

Your data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). We use row-level security policies so users can only access their own data.

Profile photos are hosted on imgbb and are publicly accessible by their URL — this is standard for profile images. No other personal data is publicly exposed.

While we implement strong security practices, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique email and to sign out on shared devices.

You have full control over your data at all times:

• editCorrection — update your name, photo, or preferences anytime from your profile
• deleteDeletion — delete your account and all associated data permanently
• pause_circleRestriction — ask us to stop processing your data while a dispute is resolved

We use only essential cookies — specifically the authentication session token stored by Supabase so you stay logged in. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

Trenk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy as our product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
